FAQs

for the Print Shop

  • I work closely with some of the nation's best printers and framers to ensure that you receive art that is made with high-quality materials and methods.

    Prints

All of our prints are printed on premium, acid-free photographic paper with archival pigment inks using the esteemed giclée printing method. The results? A beautiful print that will stand the test of time.

All prints are created from original images created by photographer Taylor Roberts. All prints are made in the USA.

    Frames

When you choose to add a frame to your order, your print will arrive framed and read to hang! All frames are handcrafted from solid wood by professional framers and made in the USA. Each print is dry mounted within the frame to ensure that it never slips and no waving occurs. To protect your print, we use UV-shielding, artist-grade acrylic. Not only does acrylic block more UV rays than glass, it’s also lighter, has less glare, is more scratch-resistant and is shatterproof. Frames also come with dust covers on the backs, self-leveling corner brackets, wall bumpers and hanging hardware.

You can also choose to add a mat to draw your eye to the art, or purchase the frame without a mat for a more modern look.

  • For all orders with prints plus frames, my complimentary framing service is automatically applied. Typically, I can tell which prints belong with which frames based on the matching print sizes. If someone buys multiple frames that all have the same print size, I have a text box at checkout where you can tell me which print belongs with which frame. For more information on how the frames are built and sizing, please see my size guide.

  • Unframed Prints

If able, I recommend using cotton gloves when handling your unframed prints. Please handle with great care and get it framed as soon as possible. Do not rub the surface of the print as its delicate surface scratches easily.

    Framed Prints

To clean, use a small amount of mild soap and lukewarm water. Use a clean, soft cloth or sponge. To dry, blot gently with a lint-free cloth. Use a cleaner designed for acrylic surfaces. Remove dust by blowing on it.

    Things to avoid:

    • Do not use your hand or a dry cloth to remove dust

    • Do not use Windex or products that contain ammonia

    • Do not use abrasive material while cleaning your acrylic

  • Please see my size guide for exact dimensions of unframed prints and framed prints.
